I'm Rudy Leon, also known as rudibrarian. I blog at Deepening the Conversation.
I am an information literacy (whole college) & collection development (6 areas) librarian with reference responsibilities, so the specialty I get to exercise is aiming a wide lens at undergraduate education and how libraries serve that. Which frequently means technology explorations for teaching, learning, and improving access to resources!
This is my 1st time at Computers in Libraries. I've heard nothing but good about this conference, & I'm looking forward to meeting a score of folk that I only know online (and because it's a technology conference, that isn't geeky at all, right? :))
I'm also looking forward to:
- Warm weather and blooming plants -- it will be so nice to be where Spring has arrived!
- Finding and devouring wonderful ethnic vegetarian food. Want to explore the ethnic cuisines of Crystal City? I'm your gal!
My flight arrives Regean ~7pm on April 6. From there, to hotel, meet roommate, have dinner
Monday, April 7
